Privacy Policy
How Explaino handles personal data across the screen recording, processing, and output pipeline.
Privacy Policy — draft in progress
The Explaino privacy policy will describe what personal data is collected during account use, how recordings and inferred metadata are stored, what data is shared with third-party processors used by the AI documentation pipeline, the legal bases relied upon for processing, retention windows by data category, and the rights data subjects have to access, rectify, or delete their information.
Explaino is the AI documentation platform that turns screen recordings into product walkthroughs, training videos, SOPs, and interactive guides. The privacy policy governs how the platform handles the data, billing relationships, and workspace obligations connected to that pipeline. The final version will reference the specific subprocessors, retention windows, and jurisdictional commitments that apply to the Explaino service.
In the interim, customers operating under negotiated enterprise agreements should treat the executed contract as the authoritative source. Customers on the standard self-serve plans are covered by the most recently published versions of the Explaino legal documents linked below, and by the operational practices described on the Explaino security and product pages.
Until the final version is published here, please reach out to the Explaino team directly with any questions about how this policy will apply to your account or organization. The team responds to legal and compliance inquiries within two business days.
